October’s Salon

by Walker Zupp

Unfortunately Monique Roffey – writer and memoirist – is unable to attend the salon this Friday for health reasons. We wish her all the best and hope that she can join us in the near future.

Taking her place will be Sarah Jasmon who published her debut novel, The Summer of Secrets earlier this year. Sarah set out to become a writer from a young age, but life got in the way. Just before her 40th birthday she began an MA in Creative Writing and secured a book deal soon after graduating. She is a member of The Prime Writers and currently curating an anthology of poetry.

She will be reading alongside Kathleen Jones, an accomplished writer with fifteen books that range from poetry to biography. Originally a radio journalist, she is now a Royal Literary Fund Fellow and a Fellow of the English Society for services to literature.

An inclusive evening with exclusive guests, do come along for some great writing and decent chat.
